Tuesday "Twosday"! A Palindrome Phenomenon

Children in Pre-K4 - 8th grade celebrated all day in honor of the terrific number two and because Tuesday, 2/22/22, unofficially know as "Twosday" is a palindrome date.

A palindrome date reads the same both forward and backward, but Tuesday, February 22, 2022 is even more extraordinary because the date is all twos!  It is a palindrome no matter what format used to write the date: day-month-year or year-month-day.  The occurrence of a "Twosday" will not take place again for another 400 years, in 2422, according to the National Weather Service.

This entire week is full of palindrome dates when using the United States' date notation: 2/20/22, 2/21/22, 2/22/22, 2/23/22, 2/24/22, 2/25/22, 2/26/22, 2/27/22, and 2/28/22. February 2, 2022 was also a palindrome; the shortest month of the year has a total of ten palindrome dates!
