Morning Message: March 27
St. Paul gives good suggestions for specific ways we can carry on Jesus’ work at home and in school. He encourages us to be imitators of Christ and to act as the beloved children we are. In a letter to the Ephesians, St. Paul says, “Let us speak the truth to our neighbors, for we are members of one another. Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up so that your words may give grace to those who hear. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you. Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us.”
Consider this silently in your heart. How can you imitate Jesus? Let us pray…O God, you desire that we live in peace with one another. You sent Jesus to show us the way. May we imitate him by forgiving others and being kind, loving, and forgiving. We ask this in Christ’s name. Amen.
