HASA Presents: Marco Johnson of the Red Cross on "Emergency Preparedness: Before, During, After"

Please join us for the Monsignor Slade Catholic School Home and School Association General Meeting on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 6:30pm. You'll get an update on the year, any future plans and any parent/guardian who attends will earn an out of uniform day on 11/9 for their student(s).

We are lucky to have a guest speaker from the Red Cross, Marco Johnson who will speak on Emergency Preparedness: Before, During, After.

Emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere. Prepare before, during, and after for common emergencies and natural disasters to include preparing for self, others, pets, and different locations. Disasters, pandemics, lightning strikes, home fires, and windstorms occur anywhere. Get tips for preparedness steps to take today, what to do in an emergency, and how to repair and rebuild afterward.

Marco serves with the Virginia MRC (Alexandria & Fairfax) in various roles such as with Point of Dispensing (POD) activities and exercises, Infection Control Ambassador, Community Ambassador, Safety Officer, counsels, committees, instructor, and Virginia State N95 Fit Tester. Marco received numerous awards for his volunteer work in Virginia over the years. He has served with the American Red Cross in several roles for over 10 years.
