Fourth Graders Connect with Baltimore Orioles

During Spring Training for major league baseball teams, Mrs. Benitez and her fourth grade students decided to extend their kindness practices beyond the walls of Monsignor Slade Catholic School.  A dedicated fan of baseball and the Baltimore Orioles, Mrs. Benitez encouraged her students to practice their writing while writing wishes for a successful season to the Baltimore Orioles baseball team.

In response the Orioles organization sent each student a pair of O's sunglasses and a note thanking them for their kind and encouraging words.
